Came today to wash my mustang. Not only did they not notify me my vehicle was done, they parked it outside the business with the windshield still dirty. I had to go and notify the girl charging the services that they didn’t finish cleaning my car. They didn’t finish the job. I came here because the location in Palm Springs kept forgetting to add the car scent I paid for. Worst experiences ever at these locations.
I had great service at this hand car wash and to be honest, I was attracted by the mural that faces Highway 111. (art lover here!) I was also wanting to get a hand car wash because the nearer car wash to my house never cleans my rims very well. The waiting room was very clean and comfortable with many places to sit with a huge TV to keep you entertained. Very clean restroom (I have very high standards!) and drinking water available at the coffee bar. There is a sign at the coffee bar that says "snacks and beverages free for members" which is a perk that's OK (though not for me, as it was my first time and I'm not a member), as the little dispenser of orange corn nuts had a pile beneath it that kinda looked...ew. The price of the basic car wash was spendier than I'm used to, but in all honesty the price was worth the extra gleam. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.
For $35, I wasn't expecting perfection, but I was disappointed with the results. The interior of my car was noticeably dirtier after the service than it was before. I have light tan carpet floor mats, and the side of my door ended up covered in black dirt that wasn't there prior. I take very good care of my car's interior, and the exterior was what mainly needed attention after a long road trip. I mentioned this to the drive-up attendants and asked that it be cleaned as well. Two employees came over and wiped it down, but the dirt stains were still visible afterward. I also noticed black dirt marks on my rear view mirror and bird poop/dead bugs still stuck on the exterior of my car. Overall, I was disappointed that I still had to clean my car myself after paying for the service.
Karen deserves a promotion, a trophy, and maybe a parade. Just rolled through for a quick wash and ended up having the best check-in experience of my week. Karen greeted us like she’d been personally waiting all day for us to arrive — which is wild, considering we’re just two humans with a dusty car and questionable life choices. She had us checked in faster than my kids abandon their shoes in the entryway, kept the line moving like she ran the place with NASA-level efficiency, and somehow made the whole thing fun. The wash itself? Sparkling. The service? Even better. If every car wash had a Karen, America’s roads would be 40% shinier and 100% happier. Highly recommend. 🚗✨
Cat City Car Wash is my go-to full service car wash! The greeter Karen is a gem, very sweet and makes everyone happy! The waiting room has free snacks and coffee/water, a tv, and plenty of seating inside with A/C or outside. The touchless wash system works great the first time, with plenty of hard working staff to vacuum and dry. Check it out!
