Overall experience at this business was excellent, from the service to the prices, can’t beat it, surely appreciative for the team effort and professionalism that I was provided with, so if you are on the fence, don’t worry, these guys know their work and 100% would support them.
***UPDATE*** I was able to get in touch with the Owner, Vic. He reached out to me directly and from the moment he got involved, he ensured the situation was resolved. He asked me to send the repair quote from Tesla, and had the full amount sent to me the same day. After the repairs were completed at Tesla, we got a follow up call to make sure everything went smoothly and that no additional repairs were required. He also asked us to bring the vehicle back so they could complete the tint up to their standards. While my wife and I were a hesitant, he stated he would personally oversee the process and guaranteed we would be satisfied with the outcome. He was 100% correct, as the quality of the tint is much better now. We are very grateful to Vic for getting this situation resolved and are now comfortable updating this review to reflect not only the bad we experienced, but the GREAT resolution that followed. It is worth noting, Vic offered up a loaner vehicle on the day they had the car and also had the car fully detailed (all without us asking). Obviously, it would have been better if none of these issues ever occurred, but, there is value in knowing a business will stand up and do the right thing when mistakes are made. Vic acted as professionally and honorably as I could have hoped for. ******* Let me start by saying this place must pay for their reviews because there is no way they can possibly be so highly rated based on my experience. We made an appointment to have our BRAND NEW 2026 Model Y get fully tinted (windshield, roof, all windows). We used their website to obtain a quote for the service and to coordinate on making our appointment. Upon arrival, we were told that they were overbooked and we would need to leave the car all day and they would “squeeze us in”. After not receiving a call and seeing as it was nearing the close of business, we decided to show up to check on the status and were told the car has been done for hours. Why no call? No reason was given. They then tried to charge us more than what was quoted and only honored the price after we showed them the texts and they reached out to their manager for approval. We did point out numerous areas of concern regarding bubbling and were told it would go away in a week or two. Fair enough. A few weeks later, not only had the bubbling not gone away, it had gotten worse. We scheduled another appointment to have the windows and roof re-done. Same thing - “Overbooked, leave the car all day, we’ll call you”. Same thing- no call, no updates and had to just show up before closing time again. The main difference? They completely destroyed the interior trim, headliner and passenger visor. Everything was soaked, headliner/pillars, dash, center console, seats. Most of that I knew would be fine, as it would dry and we could use some sort of stain remover to get rid of the dry water marks. The main issue was that they must have slipped while cutting the roof tint and sliced the headliner and passenger visor. They did their best to make it right by having their interior detailer try to remove all the stains, and then stated they have an upholstery guy that would replace the damaged liner and visor. After approximately a month or back and forth trying to get this all coordinated, they stopped texting altogether. I even offered to have it replaced at Tesla and they could reimburse me with zero markup or additional fees. Nothing. I did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will be filing against them in small claims to be reimbursed for the cost of repairs, refund of services rendered, court fees plus interest. I’ve been more than reasonable and realize things happen in the course of doing business. That said, I wish I would have known how they treat their customers ahead of time and if I were currently looking for these types of services, I’d be very hesitant to conduct business with anyone who refuses to correct their errors or damages to someone else’s property. What a nightmare, buyer beware.
Nowadays customer service is everything so overall -3 stars for not having their stuff organized and having caused a major headache beforehand basically requesting I do the work to prove my voucher was valid by sending over more proof of my purchase to fulfill his own demands.. when I had already sent over a picture of my voucher yet he still requested for more proof because he couldn’t find what he wanted on his end- which should not have been the customers fault. All I kept thinking about is how they were just playing with my money and telling me there was no trace I had made a purchase, something no customer wants to hear. Another reason as to why I’m giving -3 out of 5 is because of the smoking inside the shop, and in front of the shift manager allowing it especially in front of customers as well. Definitely a time and place to do that and that was not the correct time or place as this is still a business. I’ll give them 2 stars because I did like how my car looked with my new window tint and also for only having taken 32 minutes to do all my windows. As quickly as it was done, it was also a bit concerning but I’m assuming it was possible to have been done so quickly because the shift lead did in fact have the “man power” to have each guy do one window each to speed up the process. I drove an hour and a half and hope the quality of the speedy window tint is great enough where I don’t have to return. First impressions are everything and this was a horrible first experience and I understand things happen, but requesting the customer do the work was just poor quality customer service, no ifs ands or buts. I’m kind of bummed about it because when people ask where I got my windows done I am definitely not going to be recommending this little business and it’s unfortunate because I had just told everyone how excited I was to get my windows tinted! Thank you.
The team at California Car Pros were super friendly and professional throughout the entire process. I got my car tinted last week and they made sure I knew all options available, gave details on the process and really wanted to make sure I got exactly what I requested. They were efficient, timely and above all the finished product was perfect. Def would recommend, the ceramic tint is already coming in handy with the heat.
These guys are great man! I brought my 25 Honda Civic Sport for ceramic window tint for all my windows and the outcome is just perfection and I couldn't be more happier. At a amazing price too! I got a call back pretty quick from Jonathan (very professional and great customer service) got all the answers I needed without hassle and got me an appointment fast and easy. Gio handled it from there on and was very welcoming. He made the experience top notch, from his professionalism, excellent customer service, and chill vibes. The process was seamless and straight to the point. I stayed there the entire time and the place got a homey atmosphere. From the nice and comfortable waiting area to the good music from the guys in the back. The Lancaster location is a nice and quiet spot as well. Overall, amazing results and experience! Highly recommend this place. (also lifetime warranty on the tint!)
