Coast Car Wash did an excellent job. My car came out spotless inside and out. The team was fast thorough and paid attention to the details which really shows in the final result. The pricing felt fair for the quality of service and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The staff were friendly and efficient which made it an easy visit. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants their vehicle looking brand new.
Purchased the Manager’s Special for $40-ish dollars and a complete waste of my money AND added a scratch! Messaged them directly but could not share the pics, so I’ll share them here. Have been taking our cars here for washes and details for more than a decade. Probably the last time unless it’s resolved.
I took my Volkswagen Atlas to this place and paid for “The Works” package, which costs $54.99. From the start, there was a complete lack of transparency about what this package actually includes. You would assume that the most expensive option would at least include a basic interior wipe out but it does not. As soon as we opened the doors, the car smelled terrible. It absolutely did not smell this way when I dropped it off. The odor was like dirty water and dirty rags had been used. The smell was so bad that even my 5-year-old couldn’t stand it. There were multiple spots inside the car that were still wet, along with many areas that were clearly missed and still dirty. When I asked about this at pickup, the employee told me that “The Works” only includes the exterior wash, the doors, and the dashboard. This was never communicated beforehand and was not listed on the board with the packages and prices. Even so, the areas that were supposedly included were not properly cleaned. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Save your money and do not bring your car here.
The gentleman at the register was extremely rude to me. He didn’t greet me, didn’t thank me for my purchase, and spoke with an attitude. What makes it worse is that he treated the customer after me, someone of his same background, far more politely. During the hours of 8 AM to 10 AM, they offer a $10.99 car wash, but they do the bare minimum. If you’re looking for a more thorough wash, I wouldn’t recommend going during that time.
I stopped to send my car there since few years ago after they didn’t do good job on my car. Then last Friday at almost closed time I decided to give this car wash company a chance to show me their improvement, after the washing then I asked one of guys to clean some dirty on each door’s lower side in my basic sign language (I am deaf guy)then he say nah to me then I demand him to do them, I showed him my frown face then he did clean them and around inside. I saw some bee poops on my car hood and some dirty spots on roof and some leftover dirty dust on dash and console area and dirty mirrors and some dirty spots on all windows then guy already left my car for clean next cars. I decided to not give $5 bucks to his team and I left with my unsatisfied. I will never return again because guy got a problem attitude and ignored me. In past I always gave good tips $5.00 or more to their hardworking team. Next time I will send my car to best car wash company called Bubbles way Car on el Camino Real and mission ave. It’s little expensive but they do excellent job to make my car very shiny and cleaner inside. Smell good.
