From Showroom Auto detail, to Social Auto detail Same Worker's Same owner Same good work! Just new location that's it!!!
‼️⚠️FOR GROUPON CUSTOMERS⚠️‼️ I’m honestly disappointed with the results of the full detail service. I paid $234 in total and booked the service through Groupon, expecting the same quality of work that any full detail customer would receive. Unfortunately, the outcome felt more like a basic car wash than a full detail. There were still visible water spots and streaks on the mirrors, dust and residue on the dashboard and center console, and crumbs and debris left under the seats and on the floor mats. These are areas that should absolutely be addressed with a full detail, regardless of how the service was booked. The receptionist was very nice and professional, which I appreciated. However, the quality of the detailing itself did not meet expectations. It left me feeling confused and disappointed, and it honestly made me wonder if the reduced quality of service was because I booked through Groupon. If Groupon customers receive a lesser service, that should be clearly disclosed. Otherwise, the quality should be consistent. If that’s not the case, I don’t believe Groupon should be offered at all. I hope this feedback helps improve future services, but this experience did not reflect the value or standards advertised for a full detail.
I had an incredible experience at Showroom Auto Detail in Pasadena. Carlos and his team went above and beyond. I brought my car in after returning from Burning Man, where it endured alkaline dust, rain-soaked mud, and all kinds of desert grit from helping build an art installation. Needless to say, the car was in rough shape. I opted for the #1 exterior wash plus an interior detail, and when they finished it looked like it had just rolled off the lot. As we were heading out, my partner reminded me the engine was probably coated in playa dust too. We popped the hood and sure enough, it was packed. Since it was about 20 minutes before closing, we assumed we would have to bring it back another day. Instead, Carlos offered to clean the engine bay on the spot, which also meant re-doing parts of the exterior afterward. The quality of work was amazing, and the level of customer service from everyone (front staff to back) truly impressed me. I will definitely be bringing my partner’s car here next, and I have already started recommending Showroom Auto Detail Pasadena to friends. If you are looking for a thorough detail and a team that actually cares, this is the place.
Based on my pleasant interaction on the phone to book an appointment for a full detail (wash, clay bar, wax), I was hoping for a positive experience at Showroom Auto Detail. They have very recently hiked their prices by a whopping 20% (Level 3 detail used to be $200 and now it is $240) and even the signs in their waiting room still show the old pricing. As such, I was hoping that I’ll get real “professionals” working on my car that are getting paid above the market average for their expertise. Anyway, I dropped off my car and nearly 3 hours later I got a call to come pick up it up with the receptionist making a comment that the car looks fantastic and that they close at 3 (who closes at 3?) Upon arrival to pick up the car, I was underwhelmed as a few spots that I had hoped would be “buffed” had not been. The reception lady commented that the experts working on the car were being super careful not to damage the paint. Anyway, I picked up the car as they were about to close and got back to my place, 2 miles away. Upon closer inspection, there was no effort put into properly wiping the car as it still had halos of the wax on the sides. The front wheel arches were left muddy and same for the mud guards under the front bumper (easy to clean those so I guess someone did not pay attention). The exhaust tips had not been even wiped clean not to mention polished clean. And, to top things off, the car (which had just been finished supposedly) had some sort of misty sap on the flat surfaces (hood, roof, trunk lid) which indicates it was parked under a tree perhaps for an hour or more. Additionally, the rear windows had lots of water spots from inside (someone must have rolled the windows down after washing I guess) and the interior was literally untouched as they were a couple of marks that would certainly been cleaned had someone attempted to clean it. Anyway, $252 later (they charge 5% convenience fee for cc use which is also ridiculous) and 1/2 day later, I believe I have to have the work redone to get to a finish that I was hoping Showroom was going to deliver today. As a result, I recommend to stir away from this business unless you like to overpay and then have the work redone afterwards again.
Thank you so much for servicing my Tesla at such a reasonable price! The cleaning process was no easy task, especially with the tough coffee stains, but your shop did not disappoint. In just 1 hour and 30 minutes, you managed to get my car spotless! The service was fast, reliable, and although there was a slight lack of attention to some minor details, I am incredibly satisfied overall. My Tesla was nearly ruined by that coffee spill, but thanks to your team, it restore my car , and looks fantastic again!
