Had my Porsche Cayenne delivered by roll back wrecker while on a family vacation headed to Yellowstone from Oklahoma on August 4, 2025. Was told for 3 weeks major repair would be covered under Porsche Emissions warranty and there would be no cost to me. Service advisor sent me a text on August 25 that Porsche wasn’t going to cover it now and they were going to process repair through my extended warranty. Extended warranty offered $10,558 for repairs. Porsche West said my part was over $11,000 since the bill was $21,000. Their labor rate is a ridiculous $479 per hour. Labor for the repair was $14,000 and only a little over 6k for parts. Skip forward now to October 18th nearly 11 weeks later and we still have no car. We’ve spent over $2500 on rental car to finish our vacation, wrecker, hotel and the constant trouble of not having our car that we have made payments on while the dealership incompetents just keeps going. BEWARE IF THE EXORBITANT PRICE GOUGING FOR SERVICE AND THEIR INABILITY TO FIX YOUR CAR IF IT HAS A PROBLEM! UPDATE: Cayenne was at dealership for 12 weeks for repair to Cam, timing chains, lifters and Camshaft. They did buy the car from me but never trust a dealership Carfax!
Stopped in for a trim part for my Carrera 4S today, the parts counter is interestingly located in the back behind service bays. Willie the parts pro came out to greet me and take me back. Willie was cheerful, welcoming, and knowledgeable making the visit very smooth and pleasant. Part was ordered and I look forward to picking it up from Willie next week. If you need Porsche parts, Willie is the guy, thumbs up!
