I drove 20 minutes out of the way for r a quick wash as Splash. The line was out to the road . After a long wait I told the guy I just wanted the basic $17 rinse. I was told the cheapest option was $49.99 and if I wanted the basic I had to come between 6 and 8pm. A precious hour of my day off wasted. I used to be a member at Splash. Big ripoff

I got the most expensive option, and got in the car as I left it. He has the audacity to tell me vacuum is only the interior and not the door pockets. And the dash was not even wiped properly , What the hell am I paying for? This is absolute rip off would not recommend.

I have to say I never leave reviews this is probably the first time I've done this. I am not interested in negatively impacting a business but I couldn't let this one go. I've gone to Splash Car Wash in Stamford about 2x a month and ever 2 months or so I spend about $80 to get the interior cleaned thoroughly. Let's be honest Splash is probably the most expensive car wash I've ever been too but it is the most convenient. That is perhaps the biggest reason I go, and also they used to do a decent job when I wanted extra and purchase the super interior. On 10/9 I went paid the additional $ in addition to the wash and purchased the super interior which usually goes for $39. Please note the pictures below. For almost $40 they vacuum the carpets, dash/console and blow air. But the super interior does not include actually cleaning the interior. Wow what a surprise. I wish I kept the receipt but I lost it. As far as I'm concerned when you call something a super interior clean and charge $40 you should actually clean the interior!!! I guess I will find a new car wash and save some money in the process.

I read the reviews and gave splash a shot! Even considered a monthly package. Unfortunately, less than pleasant experience here. Paid for an almost $40 wash and left with a half washed car. Outside 5/10 (wasn’t really dirty but had some small bugs and finger prints) Inside 3/10- they didn’t really vacuum and left dirty rubber mats. I know it’s not a detail but if I shook out the mats, they would have been cleaner. Windows- 2/10- not sure how they managed to miss a whole window but they did. I kindly asked the person who checks the receipts if they vacuumed and he said “yes but lightly, let me wipe it down for you”. That’s fine and I appreciate it, but it doesn’t clean what was missed. Back to searching for a better car wash! 8/14 update: I am glad Splash replied here, the email address isn’t valid anymore and the phone number is a call serivce who hardly speaks English.
