I had a timing belt replacement done at this AAA Auto Repair location. The repair came with a warranty, which expired recently. Very shortly after the warranty expired, the timing belt became loose. I was shocked, because a timing belt is a critical engine component and should not loosen so soon after replacement if it was installed correctly. It should last usually between 60,000 to 90,000 miles. The timing of the failure strongly suggests a workmanship issue rather than normal wear and tear. Unfortunately, when I brought this up, I was told it was no longer covered simply because the warranty had expired, despite how close the failure was to the repair. I expected better quality and accountability from AAA, especially for a major and expensive repair like a timing belt. This experience has made me question the reliability of the work done here. I am sharing this so other customers are aware and can make an informed decision
I have a 2014 Cadillac, the engine blew on the highway. It ended up having two holes in the engine AAA towed my car to their location in Wheaton, Illinois. From the moment they had my car till the end which was a month they kept in contact with me every step of the way Letting me know how my car was doing and what the next steps were. While they had the car they also noticed that something was wrong with the transmission and that I needed front brakes. I had recently had the oil changed and I asked them to check the brakes at the Cadillac dealer and they said right brakes were fine and they were not The minute AAA Wheaton inspected my car they noticed that I needed brakes right away. My story can go on and on I am a single mother with one son I don’t have anyone to help me with my vehicle at home as I am new to the area. All I can tell you is these gentlemen treated me like I was family, Ken Was my service manager, Cory installed the engine worked on the car every day for over a month. They all took very good care of me. I am so grateful to them due to their knowledge. I can promise you this location will not disappoint you. work on your car will be done above your satisfaction. These gentleman Which I now consider my angels exceeded my expectations by providing the highest quality of care in a friendly and caring environment! Please do not pass these guys up, especially if you’re a single female you will be in good hands. I promise you.
This AAA car care center in Wheaton is excellent, starting with Dave Hudzik in service and the technicians. They take the time and care to explain things and are so helpful. I drive from the city to get my car serviced here- from oil changes to tire sensor to blower motor replacements. They are not dismissive or condescending which I appreciate. I trust and respect them. My AAA annual membership is worth it just for this car care center.
I had such a pleasant experience working with David Hudzik at AAA Car Care in Wheaton. He was very welcoming and was always communicating with me and giving me updates on the status of my car repair. I was nervous at first having to get a lot of work done on my car, but he always kept me in the loop which made me much more comfortable knowing that my car was in such good hands. He was such an amazing help and I know I can rely on him for any future services.
We have used AAA Wheaton CarCare Plus for a wide range of services on various makes and models of vehicles. David Hudzik is who I’ve worked with the most and he does a great job taking care of his customers. He clearly explains repairs that need to be done and is also upfront about the things that can wait or to keep an eye on for the future. I’ve also worked with Nate and had good experiences with him as well. I’ve always felt that they have been honest with us and that we get a fair price for quality work. In addition, most of what they do comes with a 36 month/36K mile warranty so you have peace of mind that they stand behind their work. I highly recommend them.
