Knick provided wonderful customer service at Teds Body Shop. We were hit by a car and it created a lot of chaos trying to get estimates and things sorted with insurance. Knick was a wealth of helpful knowledge of the process and quickly became a trusted resource!
A+ lawn care thought it was a good idea to blow grass and gravel down the side of my brand new car so they told me to take it to Ted's. At first I was impressed with the estimate, they found more damage than I thought I had. They said they would have to repaint the whole side of my car. The repair started good. They sent updates. When I went to pick up my car I about cried. The paint did not match and there were swirl marks from buffing all over that side of my car. There was also orange peel. It was awful. They said the paint needed to settle and they would keep it and fix the swirl marks. They told A+ my car was ready Friday even though it wasn't because they messed it up and then they were harassing me to give the rental car back. They emailed me and said they were getting it detailed and rebuffed. I asked what they did to fix the paint. They said they waxed my whole car. Why did they do that? I came back a few days later to get my car again. The paint still didn't match but swirl marks were gone. I decided to take it and see if paint would settle. After a few washes the swirl marks came back and I could not handle the paint not matching. Half of my car was more glittery than the other side. I don't know if they added too much pearl or didn't clean the gun well enough before clear coat or what. It just doesn't look right. They asked me to bring it back in for the owner to look at. He told me to wait for the paint to settle and they would rebuff it again for the swirl marks and ask a paint rep. If they needed to they would repaint it. I brought it back in. When I picked it back up they said they resanded some spots where there was orange peel and rebuffed. They said the paint rep said it was factory standard. They said now would be a good time to do a wax coating even if it was through a car wash. A few washes later I have buff swirls and now flat marks that look like they sanded there but didn't buff it properly. I'm guessing they just did a light buff with wax so it just washes off instead of sanding it down and buffing it the right way. I emailed them and asked them how we can fix the problem but no response. 2 weeks later I received an automated email and I replied that again. I received a response. I was told they had been on vacation and they could not help me anymore. They said they felt they did everything they could and black cars get scratches easy. They told me to put wax on it. I did not put this big patches of scratches on my car. I only use touch less car washes. They ruined a brand new car. I am in service industry and make sure I tell all my clients to steer clear of Ted's. I now have to pay out of pocket to have my car fixed properly.

I’ve came back each time because they’ve always taken care of my trucks and gotten me back on the road quickly. Their communication is great and they work well with insurance companies! Would highly recommend!
Ted's staff was very professional and went above and beyond to ensure that I was informed about the damage to the vehicle and were thorough in explaining the options to me. It is very evident that they are true professionals who are concerned about quality work and customer service. They are a rare breed in today's world!
We took our 2012 Jeep Wrangler to Ted’s to have damage repaired from last year’s Derecho. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product! It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Everyone was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable and completely transparent with the progress. It’s looks so nice now that my wife told me I’m not allowed to drive it.
