I have used Madison in the service department numerous times, and she never lets me down. I can ask her anything regarding my Passport and she will always get me a solution. She's very good at returning calls and getting all the information needed for my service needs. She is one of the many reasons I have bought vehicles from Shreveport Holmes Honda for more than 10 years. :)
Today I took my vehicle in for a warranty repair, under my bumper to bumper extended warranty, which I bought with the vehicle at the Bossier location. I was told in Shreveport that the warranty was not bumper to bumper and that the needed repair would be $1293.15, AFTER a $190 diagnostic fee, which isn’t covered because the warranty doesn’t cover the repair. I opted not to do the repair. I spoke with the manager of the service department at Holmes in Bossier a few hours later and not only was the repair my car needs quoted at $450 LESS in Bossier, it was also verified that my extended warranty is INDEED bumper to bumper and the repair is covered by the warranty, which Madison in Shreveport told me would NOT cover it. I expect the diagnostic fee to be refunded and Bossier will be completing the repair TOMORROW. There is NO EXCUSE for the discrepancy in price for two locations under the same business name and if the service in Shreveport matched the service in Bossier, maybe I wouldn't be selling this vehicle. But as it stands, I will no longer own the vehicle after this weekend and I will NEVER do business with Holmes in Shreveport again if I can help it. Buyer beware!
Nick Plumlee at Holmes Honda is the best!! He always takes such good care of me. He is kind and patient, and he never hesitates to explain everything to me in a way that I can understand. I’m never worried about anything that comes up with my car because I know he’ll make sure it gets taken care of efficiently and effectively. I cannot recommend Nick enough!
My parents Honda Pilot was in the shop at Holmes Honda in Shreveport, La for over 3 months 1/2023 to 5/2023. They gave them the run around since it was dropped off. They kept giving them different issues of what was wrong with the car. They kept telling them they mailed off a part to have it fixed and they kept saying that for months. For the first month my mom rented a car which was too expensive to continue to do. So she borrowed a car for a while until they gave her a courtesy car. My parents live on a fixed income they’re both in late 60’s and retired. My dad at the time was very sick and goes to the doctor a lot and is on oxygen and dialysis. (He died in August 2023) He carried a lot of equipment so getting in this tiny SUV was a struggle for them compared to their pilot, with his wheelchair, oxygen, and dialysis supplies. They never called to give her updates, my mom did the majority of the calling, her Honda service advisor was named Hannah. The service manager I believe her name is Kate, when my mom spoke to her about the progress on the car she told her, “They want their courtesy car back as much she want her car back”. She was rude every time. They had an extended warranty so some of the fees will be covered. I also put in a call to the service manager’s boss Case Johnson but never received a call back. My parents on one of the trips to check on the progress of their Pilot, got weaseled into buying a new base package Honda pilot for a horrible price and she had a fully loaded. Their car was never fixed and they never gave them a diagnosis.
Horrible customer service!!!! I bought my new Honda in Nov and went to have my first service done on my car. Made appt online and showed up the next day for them to tell me they had "call-ins" and it would be a 2 hour wait. Called the next day to speak with Manger (I thought) and spoke with Chandler who pretty much told me if I was unhappy with there service to not come back. Couldn't even get a mam I'm sorry. Told me that 2 hours was the appropriate time for an oil change. Even told me he was going to hang up the phone, stated I was being rude, at that time I stated I was not being rude I was just speaking the truth and he didn't want to hear it. I regret purchasing my car from them if this is the service and disrespect I will receive. Chandler needs another profession, because he is HORRIBLE at customer service. I say all this that to say this. ALL I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO RECEIVE WAS A COURTESY CALL THAT AM NOTIFYING ME OF THE WAIT!!! I live over an hour away.
