I brought my 2013 Silverado K1500 into Sid Dillon, where I purchased it, for what I believed to be a lifter tick. After diagnosis, it appeared to be coming from the transmission and a replacement under my extended warranty was recommended. I agreed and, after replacement with a re-manufactured transmission, it was found there was another tick coming from the rear of the engine. This turned out to be a bad lifter that was also causing internal wear. An engine assembly replacement was done, also under warranty. Additionally, prior to the engine replacement, the oil pan was resealed to address an oil leak. They waived the cost of that work due to the replacement. My truck was at Sid Dillon for 7 weeks in total and I could not be happier with the service I received. I was provided with a vehicle to use, at no cost, for the entire duration and my deductibles for the warranty repairs were also waived. Josh and the rest of the service team were excellent regarding communication, especially considering that this was all done over several holidays. I will definitely be purchasing my next vehicle with them. I would highly recommend anyone do business with them either when looking for a vehicle or just as a service provider.
I had a lot of work done this time as we are getting ready for a long road trip and our Envision is just under 100,000 miles. I was greeted immediately when I got to the service bay. Oil change, transmission flush and plugs. I used the courtesy car both ways and the driver, Dick, and I had great conversations. The car was washed and vacuumed when I picked it up. I really appreciate that the service technician sends me a video inspection of the vehicle and the work done. The video this time was not nearly as thorough as the one I got last time but it still showed he checked a lot of the vehicle over in addition to the work I had requested.
Always go to the Nissan side - they are fantastic! Have brought my cars there for the last 18 years and they have really changed my expectation for what great service looks like. Knowledgeable, reliable and they never try to push an up-sell.
They are replacing my blackout tape on my front doors. For some reason, the tape always starts to ripple on the edge. Hopefully, they can figure that out. I think this is the fifth or sixth time they have replaced them. I don't know if it has to do with the person putting it on or something with the 3M blackout tape or something with the car. Well, it is done now. It looks very good. It's probably the best I have ever seen since they started doing it. Great job for the man who put it on.
