Protecting a new car from rock chips and other paint damage is very important to me, as it protects not only the car but also the significant investment in it. As with most things in life, protective film options range from inexpensive products with poor installation to higher quality films (like XPEL) that are professionally and precisely installed. This is the second car I’ve trusted to the professional services of Knox Detail, and my words can hardly do justice to the work ethic and finished quality of their work. Like many people, I don’t often take the time to write reviews. But when a business impresses me as much as Knox Detail has, I feel compelled to let others know—not just the business itself. From the moment I walked into their office, the professionalism and respect for the customer were obvious. I wasn’t treated as just the next person through the door—I felt like a valued customer. My car was carefully inspected, the film options were clearly explained, and I immediately felt confident that I would be more than satisfied with their work. When I picked up my car the next day, instead of the owner showing me the finished product, the installer who performed the work greeted me. As a retired business owner, that impressed me greatly. The young man who completed the installation was justifiably proud of his work—and he should be. This was the most impeccable PPF application I have ever seen. And you simply cannot fake the level of pride in workmanship this man had. The fact that the owners allowed him to personally deliver the car—even though it took 30 minutes away from time he could have been working—speaks volumes about the culture of this business. I want to thank Billie, Tim, and John for exemplifying how businesses can make their customers feel valued—and doing so with sincerity. And Jason, if there were a PPF Installers Hall of Fame, I would nominate you. Thank you for your superb work installing the XPEL film on my new car.
After a very disappointing experience elsewhere, I brought my BMW M4 to Knox Details to correct a full PPF, Ceramic and tint installation. From the first conversation, the difference in professionalism and technical knowledge was obvious. They fully removed the previous failed install and redid the work properly — and the results speak for themselves. The PPF is completely invisible. No contamination, no lift lines, no edge issues. You literally cannot tell film is installed. The tint is flawless as well — zero debris, perfect finish. What impressed me most was the attention to detail and pride in workmanship. They walked me through their process, set clear expectations, and delivered exactly what they said they would. They didn’t just redo the work — they restored my confidence. This is what professional installation is supposed to look like. If you care about your vehicle and want the job done correctly the first time, this is the shop to trust. Jon and the team at Knox Details are awesome. Had the windows tinted on my 2023 Yukon. Looks great and does a great job reflecting the heat. While my car was there, Jon noticed a rim that was deeply scratched and let me know they can fix that for only $175. Take a look at the pictures I have included. The rim looks brand new! I can’t see a single issue with it now. It looks so good I even checked my other rims to see if they might have moved it to another tire 😁 Highly recommend Knox Details!
Knox Details does an amazing job and wonderful people that care about their craft. I thought my paint looked great, but the really brought out the shine and applied the Expel coating. Also, they did an amazing job with the interior detailing.
Repeat customer over and over again. Good people and great service! Window tint and clear protection by Expel and cut on machine in house to deliver that perfect disappear fitment! Honest up front pricing on various options to choose what fits the budget. For me protecting the most important parts down the side of vehicle against rock chips.
